His work on the Cinemax series Femme Fatales was released by MovieScore Media a while back. Also, his score to The Way of the Gun (from the same director as Jack Reacher) is on CD.
March/April -- it will most likely be our 250th release...a 3 disc set to boot!

I was thinking Caprica because LLL's 100th and 150th release were both McCreary scores, BSG Season 4 and Human Target. But then again, apparently Caprica has some troubles with the rights, and LLL's most recent 'milestone' release (number 200) was Speed, totally unrelated to McCreary. All that means... I'm totally in the dark. But that won't stop me from guessing!
What's to guess? He's saying a 3-disc set of Wyatt Earp will most likely be the 250th release.
Im somewhat surprised (and intrigued) that 'Wyatt Earp' will be a 3 disc thingy. How much music from the score is not on the original release? I was under the impression the only worthwhile piece missing was the End Titles.

IMDB states that the theatrical cut of the film is 3hrs and 32 mins. That might put the extended cut at nearly 4 hours. The 3 CD might likely have a hearty selection of alternate cues, as did The Fugitive aside from the complete score.
Three discs sounds about right for a near-4 hour film with alternate cues.

If IMDB states those running times it is incorrect as the theatrical running time is 190 minutes. I believe that the extended version is 212 minutes long.

So the extended cut is 3 hrs and 32 mins. Can we agree that it's crazy long enough that the potential for three CDS of music fits the bill. :-)

2CD for the complete score edition + 1CD for the previous released edition maybe?

Perhaps...2cd for complete score...1cd for alternates.

Already exciting news for 2013! But what a long wait, though... WYATT EARP is simply my favourite score of that 1994 year and my favourite JNH's. And with that forthcoming release Lalaland will triple my pleasure!
Ok, this is probably just wishful thinking on my part, but what if one of the Black Friday titles is Ransom, containing both the complete rejected score by Howard Shore and the complete score by James Horner? And it's sort of a less obvious title that still fits the "crime doesn't pay" hint. I know, probably a long shot, but hey, I'm still hoping for a release someday. Anybody else here wishing for this one someday?
