Roy Phillipe,
I used to travel to San Francisco and LA every other year from around 1978-1996. In the Bay Area, I always stopped at Intrada, they were always on my itinerary. I don't think I ever visited their Oakland store, so perhaps they moved after my trips came to an end.

I was visiting San Francisco in the late 90s and went to the Intrada store! That is where I bought my Herrmann CD of Cape Fear on Soundstage Records. Decent sound, possibly a boot--or maybe they just fired their art director and liner notes guy.

Roger Feigelson just posted one of Intrada's titles... it's John Debney's Clifford The Big Red Dog. Guess that's the "release to a contemporary film by a popular composer"

Damn!
I was hoping that particular release would be JUNGLE CRUISE by JNH or THE WOMAN IN THE WINDOW by Danny Elfman.

There were talks of possible "bionic" music. Groovy Oliver Nelson stuff would be great !

But my remaining Holy Grail may be almost impossible to get due to copyrights, and the damned remakes: Hawaii 5-0.
12 seasons to dig in, and brilliant stuff by Morton Stevens, Richard Shores, Don B. Ray and many others.

Im hope one of La La Land titles will be Golden Age title.

Earlier, LLL reissued some scores like The Robe, Fall of Roman Empire, Egyptian, so maybe it is a chance to revisit Tiomkin "Land of Pharaohs".

Just my dreams, but it will be great.

LLL have mentioned in the past that they have Newman’s Diary of Anne Frank in the works. I’m hoping that Black Friday is the day it will finally be released.

LLL has also mentioned having complete and remastered versions of Waxman’s Sayonara and Spirit of St. Louis in the works… and Bernstein’s Devil in a Blue Dress; although that’s not Golden Age it’s by a composer who got his start during the early 50s and it has a classic sensibility. Any of those four titles would make me ecstatic!

Oh and if they do another big box set like their awesome Paramount Westerns collection, that would make me ecstatic too!

Varese - Im sure we will get at last two more Club Releases. Probably some Goldsmith and I hear rumours about Tangerine Dream "Legend". It will be nice.

No TD "Legend" in the VS CD Club today. Might the rumors say anything more about this in-need-of-expansion score?

Yeah, the HAWAII FIVE-O scores would be an instant purchase for me as well - unfortunately, it isn’t coming:-(
