Even John Williams has talked about the Death of Barbara Ruick, about a very Dark Moment and about finding that inner self. And how to bring yourself up. I have always felt that Johnny T. Was 100% a Professional Composer and took his composing jobs very serious…and had already committed to Martin Ritt, Steven Spielberg and Mark Robson and Irwin Allen, for Composing Jobs in 1974. Also John Williams had children to feed.
IF John Williams truly does not like The Sugarland Express Music, for whatever reasons, he has conducted The Main Theme with Toots Thielemans and The Boston Pops, and in Japan. And The Sugarland Express has been on The Boston Pops CD.
DMD: I'm kind of sad (seriously) that after all these years of seeing you ask for this, it still hasn't come out. When even The Car did! (And a nice score it is too, The Car I mean, for a movie I avoided seeing until I got the soundtrack, and then saw it, and will continue to avoid seeing it for the rest of my life. )
For me, I feel similarly about Goldenberg's Columbo music. Yes, all of it is great, I particularly enjoy De Benedictus and P. Williams, but I would be happy if just Billy's music came out. For me, the definitive 70's detective/murderer cat and mouse music - so classed up the joint.
And another I'd be especially grateful for: Grusin's My Bodyguard.
Don't know The Hearse, had to give it a listen. Definitely my kind of thing, I'd buy this.
My personal grails list is always changing a little bit depending on what I have seen lately but the BLIND DEAD scores by Anton Garcia Abril are always on it. (Maybe also LORELEY'S GRASP)
Ta Da. Theme is great and not a long score but its all good.
In a world where the labels have done a fantastic job catching up loads of missing 60s n 70s holes, its been mentioned before but there is still quite a lot of key Grusin and schifrin unreleased. Midnight Man and Charley varrick for starters.

I threw out 10 more titles, since very few people read everything... Number 3 and 20 are unlikely to ever come out... Moreover, these are short scores, each of them no more than 15-20 minutes. But these are my favorite and most desired scores for many years.
No one said Fletch!? Well, two Harolds for me. Top Gun & Fletch. And all missing Highlander music by Kamen and Queen.
Tom Maguire, Maybe that's because a lot of people got Fletch Lives in 2019 (which clearly contains many material from the first film). But that's just my point of view... Although I would have been delighted with the release of Fletch and Top Gun anyway!
The pilot score and collection of cues from S1,2 eps of Hogan's Heroes (Jerry Fielding, Fred Steiner, Nathan Van Cleave) as well as library music composed for S3-6.
Well, this one has a rejected score by Maurice Jarre, so since I think it's unlikely just the rejected score will come out, I think you'll get this one eventually.
14. Poison Ivy (David Michael Frank)
This one is over thirty minutes. With just the score I could include, I made three suites over at my TV Scoring thread. The film also has a rejected score. It'll probably wind up as a 2CD set one of these days if the rejected score is included.

Yeah but Fletch 2 kinda sucks. Fletch doesn't. I *never* listen to my Fletch 2 CD. Just doesn't play very well IMO.
