There are many little differences in this recording compared to the Intrada re-do. In particular, I can hear this little warbley thing Goldsmith does a lot -- I first noticed it during the Ilia-based music in STAR TREK. It's not flutter tongue, but it's in the woodwinds -- kind of this little quiet flutter. Anyone else notice this? Brilliant. -Rick O. After listening to the crappy boot a few hundred times, the real deal arrived today and for the first time I noticed the little flutter thing you mentioned. What a great thing to hear this score in crystal clear sound, finally! This is one of the all-time best scores IMO. I know Dana knows it already, but I cannot help but concur. It is one of Jerry Goldsmith's finest scores, simply enchanting. Sublime.

Lukas and Bruce, kudos for this release. Bruce, so do you have any other tape gems worthy of CD treatment ? Well, I think I may have a few things laying around storage
