Billie Eilish is the present day revival (on a predictable time cycle) of the heroin chic style from the 90s, meets 90s street hip hop. Margot Robbie in Suicide Girls is not far off and you can find this everywhere on social media, with heavy makeup, colored hair, hypersexualized and emotionally broken - which is always going to be resonant with a subset of teenagers. The biggest change is rap/hip hop is no longer a separate niche, it’s pretty much a universal flavor across most everything now, which is why she’ll sometimes combine her gothy look with parachute pants.

I’d venture to say that teenagers who are interested in that style will find very little of interest in the film itself.

Leave it to Zimmer to work with people whose main purpose is to be a marketing draw. Can’t wait to hear what Johnny Marr can do that no other professional guitarist in the world can do. Because only Johnny Marr can play this music. Only Johnny Marr.

I don't know what low-effort alternate account posted this nonsense but I'm glad I had them on block. They've obviously been slinging crap before.

Anyone else think this will be the last Bond film in the traditional universe, at least for a while? With Amazon taking over, I keep thinking there will be spin-offs, a tv series on other characters, and a new, reimagined Bond.

EON still controls Bond, and they still see Bond as a theatrical experience. They have resisted spin offs and TV projects in the past. I don't see any big changes.

"Dune" now moves out of the way of the "No Time To Die" movie into a more favorable weekend where it will be up against Edgar Wright's "Last Night in Soho" :

Still enough time to bring back David Arnold.

Or, even, for Zimmer to write the score rather than Steve Mazzaro!

Score is done and dusted. Why would anybody want it rescored without even hearing it?.

Well, Peter...
We all know that you hate David Arnold's scores. But some people hates any Zimmer & his minions scores. That's why they wants to replace this one.

MGM has issued yet another update to the "final" (?) release poster -
it includes "ONLY IN THEATRES" above the "OCTOBER" date stamp.
