Friday the 13th game -- still happening Blindspot - as much as I dug the music the sales were sadly not there to warrant any additional season releases. .TD - no projects in the works.

Somebody on some thread on here recently asked about the possibility of more Smallville. Thought it might have been this one, but I'm not finding the comment now. Anyway, I sadly think I know the answer as the first 2 discs are still around, but might as well ask: more Smallville? The existing release has so much great music from Snow and Febre, but more Smallville would be a definite grail for me.

We are actually down to the last 15 units of Smallville and have decided not to press up any more. So. If you a copy buy one now!

Well, 15 people have a chance to get their hands on Smallville while they can.

Dear MV, After the success of Wild Wild West, have you considered (or might you consider) mining other popular CBS western series for their music? I've been watching some recently because of Jerry Goldsmith's involvement and let me just say in particular that his score to "A Head of Hair" -- his second for the series Have Gun - Will Travel -- is just *incredibly* good, on the level of his best western feature scores. Other fan favorite film composers who have composed music for HGWT: Bernard Herrmann (who wrote the theme and pilot episode), Jerome Moross, Leonard Rosenman, Paul Dunlap, Leith Stevens, Nathan Van Cleave, Lyn Murray, Richard Shores, William Lava, and (though overlooked by many, I often love his work) Jeff Alexander. Oh, and Jerry's fellow iconic Trek composer Fred Steiner composed no less than seven scores for this series! Since it was a half-hour show, you could also probably fit all of the most important episode scores on a single 4 disc set and not worry about too many people bugging you about future volumes. Another worthy CBS western series is Rawhide, to which Jerry contributed a single very good score (not quite on the level of "A Head of Hair" but still darn good). Other composers who scored episodes according to IMDb: Bernard Herrmann, Fred Steiner, Leith Stevens, Lyn Murray, Paul Sawtell, Richard Shores, Gerald Fried, and John Green. And supposedly the great Russell Garcia (The Time Machine) composed a whopping 22 episode scores! I hesitate to mention Gunsmoke, because Justin Boggan already has a great thread going through all the fantastic scores from that series (including at least six by Goldsmith)...I kinda fear that with 20 seasons of material to work through, that may just be too intimidating/overwhelming a prospect. But I hope I'm wrong. Yavar
