It's a shame that La La Land Records lost the music CD rights to all The CW DCTV Soundtracks from Waltertower Records and all the new soundtracks that come out are only out now digitally only. But not bothered by that too much. No matter the quality of the shows all The CW DCTV Arrowverse Soundtracks for all the seasons have been amazing. Was surprised a bit that Blake Neely was not brought back to do the music for Superman & Lois I always thought his original Superman theme for Supergirl Season 2 and the last 2 crossovers was good but with it being a new show I figured their would be a new composer for the series and Dan Romer has done a great job composing the soundtrack for the series and the Superman theme for the show is so good.

We did not lose the rights at all. Sadly no one wanted to buy this wonderful music on CD so we had to pass on doing any releases because we were not breaking even on the CDs. At least its still all coming out digitally for the fans to grab, and I commend Watertower for getting it out there MV

Thanks La La Land Records for clearing that up a bit. Did not know that. While I'm a bit sad and disappointed that are not coming out anymore physically on CD at the very least the music is still coming out digitally from Watertower Records after the seasons of all The CW DCTV Arrowverse shows are finished and that is a good sign.

So thankful that they still release the score for each season of these shows. Even when the shows are ALL quite terrible now. I do wonder though, if LLL had kept releasing them, would the albums still have had this awful receipt of max 15 tracks and 75 minutes? I must say I really miss the old score representations (but I think I've already said this a couple of dozen times, lol). I can understand for the first round last year if it was to save cost since there was so many soundtracks in need of releases. But they keep doing this today, and only for Blake Neely soundtracks...I dont get it. The badly put together suites ruins the listening experience and makes it very hard to like the tracks...! I would agree but also disagree a bit even The CW DCTV shows that Blake Neely does not score like Superman & Lois and Stargirl are quite good and those soundtracks are amazing with different composers. The explanation La La Land Records gave as to why they did not lose the music rights to the DCTV Arrowverse shows but yet they did not sell well as CD Sets is strange to me their was still a market for the soundtracks to be sold on CD but maybe with Blake Neely getting busy with the scores mainly the crossovers hence the reason why Watertower Records decided to release the soundtracks digitally only. I get their answer but it's an odd one for sure.

Judging by the plot writing and overall style is the Arrowverse aiming at a demographic somewhere between 15 & 35 and I don't think that many people of this age buy CDs. Most score fans will be turned of by the sound quality of the orchestral samples so also a 'no buy' for them. The two target demographics for these releases have no interest for it. It's defenitively not an odd answer. I do get it and understand that but shows like Superman & Lois and Stargirl have proven their is still a fanbase for these CW DCTV Arrowverse shows sure the quality differ from show to show and even though so far the 2 shows have little connection to this universe their is still a fanbase for them. So to say that fans have lost interest in the shows and the soundtracks is incorrect because the interest is still their. If they La Land Land Records where still making CD Soundtracks for the DCTV Arrowverse shows both Superman & Lois and Stargirl would have had one out but after the crossovers Elseworlds and Crisis On Infinite Earths things got busy and they La Land Land Records and Watertower Records stopped for whatever reason making the CDs for the shows. I agree with what La Land Records said about why they stopped making CD Soundtrack sets for the DCTV Arrowverse shows however sales is not a good enough reason to stop making them but it's their call so what they said is a good reason and fact. Again that's my view on it so take what you will.

Honestly, I gave up on the various CW series once Arrow ended and they had a giant Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. That said, I am happy to continue buying the albums they release, so if they keep Flash going for the next several years and Blake Neely and company keep releasing albums, I will happily buy them. Of the CW shows, I seemed to enjoy the Supergirl scores the most, so I was sorry to see that get cancelled, if only because I knew no more albums will be coming.
