Damn. Just asked them the day Land Before Time came out if they knew when this would possibly be restocked. They replied they didn't know when it might happen. Kind of frustrating that it was this close.
Ah, well. I'd wait to see what happens on Black Friday, but I don't want to take the chance this is a short restock that sells out quickly after waiting a year for it to come back.
Plus, shipping for a buck if you buy three CDs at once.
I tried buying it and got the not in stock notice after clicking buy it now
Aw crap, sorry I got your hopes up. MovieMusic has to change their system, because I'm sick of getting excited to see a title, only to find a "not in stock" notice only when I click on "buy it now". Why have a listing for it at ALL if you don't have copies?!

Well at least MM has "real time inventory" software that lets you know when he's out of stock. It just takes one extra click to find out. Yeah its a little annoying. But a lot of sites don't have real time inventory and you can order something and wait weeks until you figure out your order never shipped and the retailer never bothers to tell you their out of stock.

Well MovieMusic actually indicates if an item is out of stock or out of print. If you click the year the movie/soundtrack/score was released. A + sign on the side of the title would indicate that the album is either out of stock (at the moment) or out of print. And if you click the composer's name they have sections that indicate new CDs in stock, used CDs in stock, and out of stock or discontinued soundtrack CDs. That's normally how I check if an item is available or not.
And Intrada does have An American Tail expanded. Not following this thread.
It's about shipping costs. Us overseas bundle our orders to spread the costs over multiple cd's – otherwise we might end up paying more for postage than de music. That also means we can't order regularly. So if an item only has a small window of availability, we might miss it. I missed out on Balto for that very reason.
And now that An American Tail is back in stock (after a looooong time being out of it) just after I and others ordered a bunch, is kinda harsh.

I hope I won't miss out on it.
I agree. International shipping to the UK is very harsh and kind of ridiculous. You only need to look on Ebay to see US sellers offering you a 10x8 photo for $0.99, then charging you $25 to ship it to you! Insanity!
At least Intrada help us out on the customs side of things, unlike that other company !!!
As much as I love The Land Before Time I think An American Tail is the bigger expansion of the two. Practically the entire middle of the score is missing from the OST. This is truly a release that merited an expansion. There's a wealth of rich thematic material here.
