That is a cool trailer. I've been waiting for this set ever since the early rumblings of it coming out. Taken the day off tomorrow to watch some eps and to stare at my computer screen until 1p EST hits....

this is getting too low on the list. who's got any x files stories to make the time go faster. an encounters, either with the show or aliens i suppose. i got to visit the set during the season 8 episode "patience." was quite thrilling even though it was post duchovny. robert patrick was a perfect gentleman.

People...People....People.... I don't think folks fully realize what went into that fan-trailer. First off - It was pure "Awesomeness" I can't believe...wait...I want and do believe!
Let's dissect:
The choice selections to help drive the fan-base into a frenzy - was just spot on! The voice over - that either was a favor that this person cashed in, or the VO guy is a huge fan...I think he was the same VO guy that Fox used for the "It's happening again" spots back in the mid 90's - when it went into syndication. What luck! - I hope that was gratis. 'cause that can be expensive.
The editing was just top of the game. The sound design was mixed really well and, I don't want to ask where the clips came from, but dang, they were all in the same ratio. It has me wondering if this wasn't a studio leak and LLL is playing along. OK, so it's 100% fan - that means a lot of time devoted to clip research and study to make it compelling enough to hold your attention for 2:50 - gosh, that's longer than most studio trailers these days!
Enough said - thank you to the producer/editor/fan! that made this and I hope it spreads and can be updated as the days and month go on! Will the secret person reveal themselves one day? Maybe we need to open up an X-file to investigate.
That made me 10(X) times more excited for the set, then I already am...and that's pretty high. I'm sure LLL is already taking notes from this for other major releases in hopes to seed the social spectrum and drive sales.

Ah! - OK - trailer house - enough said. The guy knows how to cut. I also checked out the edit again and I swear he must have had access to un-mixed versions - 'cause this mix is THAT GOOD. Also, why wouldn't Mark Snow actually call in the favor on this. I'm sure he's got many connections to help produce this. I do hope a fan made it on some level, cause it helps validate our passion for this material and shows the creators that we are a community that loves the music and, with a little luck - anything is possible.

Seriously, I'm excited about this release and this trailer was napalm to my fire. I just hope I can get one ordered! I believe these are going to go very, very fast.
Dude! - totally with you. I've got a timer on my phone, my outlook set and a note in my car to remind me so I don't miss this. I bet it sells out in about 30-45 minutes. Although I'm secretly hoping for a signed copy - I would be happy with a non-signed version just as much. I'll paypal this - wait, can I paypal this? how does that work?
