I got my last LLL order (Batman Forever and X-Files Vol. 1) very quickly as well, considering I'm in Canada. It shipped on a Wednesday, and I got it the following Tuesday.

My copy arrived safely today. EVERYTHING about this set is amazing. The packaging, the sound, the whole dang thing!
Music from horror movies is what got me started with collecting soundtracks and this is a horror dream come true. Even though I can picture almost every scene in my head as the track is playing, finally being able to hear these scores away from the movie is a great experience. I was able to hear things that I just didn't pick up on during the movies.
The memories that these scores bring back are from such an awesome time in my life. This set has put such a huge smile on my face.
For tapes once thought to be lost, the sound like I said before is amazing. Excellent job to ALL who were involved with this now legendary box set.
And a big thank you one more time to MV for giving us that advanced warning so we could save up enough cash.

Really odd still not delivered to MN today! Really shocked. Getting worried now.

Anyone else not get their copy in the US yet direct from La La Land that shipped out last Fri/Sat timeframe?

Received mine on Tuesday of this week (ordered Fri). Still waiting for my signed copy from Dark Del, though.

Could not have said it better myself. Thanks Creepshow2... Got mine today and have already listened to it completely twice... smile I too picked up on things I did not "hear" when seeing them at the theater, etc. Amazing job to all involved.

Mr. Mandredini's autograph was wonderful... "Ki ki ki Ma ma ma... Harry Manfredini"... The extensive booklet is top notch with a lot of information I did not know. The release to beat this year... one of the best box sets ever.

I got my shipping notification from Dark Del on Tuesday.
According to USPS, my expected delivery date was 1/19/12.
It seemed a little quick to get to Illinois, but I who am I to argue with the post office, right?

So as I am getting closer to my apartment while driving home this evening, I started getting those little pangs of anticipation in the pit of my stomach. I just had a feeling that something was waiting for me in my mailbox. As I turned the key, I just knew... something...

It was a Jury Duty Summons.

I guess I'll try again tomorrow.

I got my box set this morning! It came in Mint condition w/ autograph. It is shocking that even Priority is taking a bit longer than usual. I live in MN, so was surprised when those in MA and other East coast customers were getting theirs in a matter of a few days. I hope everyone else gets their sets soon also if still waiting.

Mine was mailed on Monday, a non-mail day in the US and arrived yesterday. So effectively 3 days between California and Motown.

We are going to get snow later this afternoon here in metro Detroit. Last night I cracked open the box and slid Disc 1 into my car player. Probably not the right score to listen to as I pulled into the fairly dark empty parking area in my complex. smile

The last track on F13 is the solo Bill plays on the guitar for Alice and Brenda in the main cabin. It can be heard in the scene right after Marcie gets killed.

The one from Part 2 is the harmonica piece Jeff plays as he watches Sandra undress (off screen) in their room.
