Body Double (1984) Pino Donaggio

Honestly, I just look at the list, see if I can find workable elements, and--if I can--I take a swing at it unless someone else has already done it.

That being said...

I'll take a look at the list, see if I can find workable elements, and--if I can--I take a swing at it unless someone else has already done it. LOL razz

My version of Pino Donaggio's Body Double:

The Secret of My Success - pretty basic one but in high-resolution

Body Double - slightly different take with the logo being a play on "double"

Public Enemies - tried for something grittier...not sure if it'll work for you but it's something different than the pretty basic poster art

...And Justice for All - again, tried for something out of the ordinary for you

Could I add a couple more (most from from TV)? All I have are some sorry ones I made (I definitely don't have the skills the people of this board have!). As always - appreciate the work that goes into these...

Ben Casey
Bob Hope Presents Chrysler Theater
Kathryn Reed Story
Kraft Suspense Theatre
Screaming Woman
Sergeant Ryker
Sugarland Express
Tammy Grimes Show
You Are Welcome

@jands53

Considering the nature of this film, there was nearly zero reference material. I did my best to emulate what I'm guessing is the title card for the "movie".

The Kathryn Reed Story

Thanks - much appreciated as always!

LOL...well, I figure I may as well do as many as I can while I can. Unless Pennsylvania has a cataclysmic resurgence in infections, I finally get to go back to work on July 13. Yay!

As for The Reivers, I was only able to come up with something workable with the third poster (of which I found a higher quality version). Tried to emulate the magenta/black banner with a font close to the one they used. It's the best I can do on it.

Excellent work as always! Thank you so much!

Glad it worked out! That one was a tricky one. I'd almost thrown in the towel until the banner idea came to me.

I'll have to get my orders in quickly then wink

LOL...I guess so smile It's going to be a bummer not having all that available time, but it'll be good to get back to work.

I have to say though that it's been a lot of fun tackling all these various requests. It's given me opportunity to learn all new skill sets and new ways to use old tools. I've had opportunities to develop photo restoration skills with the healing and cloning tools. I've had multiple opportunities to figure out how to recreate logos from scratch using low-res references. I tend to have a very linear perspective on things, and it can be difficult for me to think outside the box. Whether that's just a personality trait or some actual degree of OCD, I don't know--but many of these covers only happened because I was forced to break that tunnel vision.

What I'm trying to say is that, while I'm thrilled that I produced covers that you liked, I should be thanking many of you for keeping busy and sane during these past few months--even though you didn't know you were doing that. So thank you. big grin big grin big grin

Boyz in the Hood - just did a bit of selective color on this

Donnie Darko

The Breakfast Club (with "Additional Music" credit)

The Breakfast Club (Keith Forsey only)

The Breakfast Club (with "Additional Music" credit) - ADDED SHADOW EFFECT (well...tried to, at least)

The Breakfast Club (Keith Forsey only) - ADDED SHADOW EFFECT (well...tried to, at least)

Drive (2011) - REALLY leaned into the flashy neon style that some of the original key art had!

The Bone Collector

The Falcon and the Snowman - "Flag" version

The Falcon and the Snowman - "Snow" version
