Is it worth spending an arm and a leg for the following OOP special editions or are reissues (of at least some) of them very likely in the near future? - The Boys from Brazil - The 'Burbs - The Cassandra Crossing - Coma - Innerspace
Speaking as someone who lost it all in a fire I too will have to be spending a small fortune to reacquire 4 of those 5 releases.
Hopefully intrada pr varese will reissue Boys and Burbs some day.
I wouldn't reissue come because we have way too many titles at wb to deal with. As for Cassandra I don't think proper elements have been located since the last release
Dear folks at LLL, with that Universal deal in mind... how big is the chance of producing a CD-set with original recordings from the TV-show "Airwolf"?
I don't think I've ever seen enthusiasm for animated films scores by any labels, but just thought I'd ask directly if early DreamWorks titles, say Chicken Run, Road To El Dorado, and others, have potential for LLLR to look into at some point in the future?
Well, it's a Universal thing now and those titles are certainly on the radar, but not as part of the Heritage line.
Boy, those would be a dream come true. Really hope they get the expanded treatment.
How often do you guys hang out with other labels, you ever go out for beers to discuss the biz, and float suggestions or discuss challenges?
Not really. Roger and I speak a few times a month...generally make fun of vinyl. Had a great lunch with Jose when he was in town a few months back. Lol
