I've ordered the "wrong cover" from Amazon. DE (Germany).
I'm protecting myself in case Stylotone finds yet another reason to delay the release in the states. I don't care which picture is on the cover, I just want the music!
Long time lurker reporting with a question: Is the CD factory pressed, or a CD-r like with Twisted Nerve? (Don't own a turntable anymore and 50€ is a bit much for a CD-r)

A correction is in order: I decided to check my Twisted nerve CD again, and with a very powerful flashlight it does appear to have a matrix code, it is almost impossible to make out, but I think i can decipher "STCD" , a number and a barcode.
That makes it much more likely that it is a factory pressed CD.

Twisted Nerve was NOT a CD-R.
Indeed. And it's cheaper to produce a CD than a CD-R.

Probably shouldnt have mentioned that. Liable to re-ignite the clamouring for a cd-only release.

Can you please explain why you are putting out this information that it was a CD-R? Multiple people have told you it's a pressed CD. Clearly you don't have the CD or you would know that, so where did you get that erroneous information?

He was asking, not stating anything. When Guenther said it was a CD, the person asking concurred after closer examination of his own Twisted Nerve CD, so the question was settled.
I got to do a quick listen to the 24bit digital release (I'm at work right now and using earbuds). I don't know who accurate are the measurings from Adobe Audition. If they are, than the dynamic range is astouding.
How does it sound, chriss? Is it a quiet pressing?
It's a joy to listen to it, I like the remastering very much. But I've only listend to the CD.
It's not a "remastering" just to be clear. It's a mastering. This is the first legit release of Marnie, so the mastering is new and not remastered from anything.
I'm sure all of us who've had this for many, many years are anxious to hear this to compare.
