GHOSTBUSTERS 3---Leslie Jones, who co-starred in the all-female GHOSTBUSTERS reboot movie, tweeted her comments on the upcoming Jason Reitman sequel, "So insulting. Like f*ck us. We dint count. It’s like something trump would do. (Trump voice) ”Gonna redo ghostbusteeeeers, better with men, will be huge. Those women ain’t ghostbusteeeeers” ugh so annoying. Such a d*ck move. Chris, if you're watching, thank you. I wish you were here. We made sure to introduce him at our panel at Comic Con... That was the most incredible moment."

THE FIRST---Hulu cancelled the series.

THE CROWN---Gillian Anderson will play Margaret Thatcher in Season 4.

She forgot to add a Russian conspiracy to her argument. Your movie sucks, deal with it and move on with your life.

Jones must not realize that the one she was in cost too much to be profitable at the gross it earned. There's nothing political about it. The studio just wants to milk the cash cow and the last iteration didn't, so they're re-tooling it again. And let's not kid ourselves. The version she was in was a serious re-tool. Were men not good enough? See how idiotic that sounds?

I don't think so. He had a damn love triangle involving characters who he claims to have always written as siblings. He's always talking (and writing) out of his ass.

Yeah it only took him 42 years to answer a question many fans have been asking since the film came out. And yes, he "rewrites" history on the go, always have. #HanShotFirst

Well, it's his creation. He can do what he wishes. If he decides to create a backstory on the whim, that's his prerogative.

I can understand Leslie Jone's perspective, but I don't agree with it. Nor do I think it necessary to oppose this new film.

From folks I know, her Ghostbusters movie was funny. If the next one is as well, that's what counts.

The best thing I can say about the remake is that it doesn't suck as much as Ghostbusters 2, but then that is a pretty low bar. I enjoy Jones quite a bit, but her Ghostbusters film was not the best work of anyone involved. The first Ghostbusters is a genuine classic, and each subsequent film proves why it never should have had a sequel.

Honestly, who cares? The comic adaptation had its own explanation that Chewie got a medal offscreen, and I am sure others have come up with their own explanations. We don't see it on screen, so at best it is something to argue about.

Technically anything he says isn't canon unless Disney says its canon. He gave away the rights. But yeah he can say whatever he wants.

It never bothered me Chewie never got a medal. Clearly the humans "in a galaxy far far away..." are just as prejudice as earthlings are.

Regardless, anything Lucas says is more 'canon' to me than whatever Disney thinks up -- even if I loved the new STAR WARSes.

He's been answering that question for years, since almost the beginning. (I take it you weren't present at the Star Wars 10th Anniversary Celebration when someone brought up that very question and he answered it in the exact same way back in 1987.) 42 Years? Hardly...

He kept the same story for 32 years? That's a first! Still a disingenuous answer for something that was probably just over looked at the time.

Agreed.

At worst, Leia came off as a Wookiephobe - remember the "Walking carpet" slur? She did come around later, though and actually hugged him.
