SEASON 1:
As a new season of the show is coming sometime 2022/2023, with the daughter of Stone being the judge, I decided to go back to this series. Running from 1984 to 1992, I haven't watched a single one of the episodes since probably the mid 1990's, and I certainly have NOT seen every single episode. I don't know how it will hold up and what to expect.
The series' catchy and memorable main theme is by the late Jack Elliott. If there are any score cues worth noting, I will note them. IMDb only shows nine episodes as having additional music, so no episodes are strictly speaking, scored, so it's going to be a long while before I note anything. Who knows, by the time I get to any score cues, I may note them just because of the rarity.
It's unlikely I will find every episode.
I am once again using a ten-star rating system.

Notes: Brent Spiner returns as the father of the poor family. Trivia states they were meant to be regular characters, but vanished without explanation. The new continuation series, with Harry's daughter as the judge, could maybe fix this.
Mac has a restaurant, which I don't recall ever hearing about before. I recall he was going to buy a place, I think to start a business, but that never really went beyond that.
This is the final episode of the bailiff Flo, who took over for Selma when that actress died. Flo was played by actress Florence Halop, who died about two months after this episode aired. When Selma died, Bull went through an entire episode of grief and remorse, but in the season four premiere, her death is just mentioned by Harry in passing.

Bull by the horns and start selling ones again, if Bull returns (Richard Moll is still alive, so it's possible).

MY THOUGHTS:
After watching this, I feel cautiously optimistic. It wasn't bad. It wasn't good, but if the rest of the stuff coming out about it later, undoubtedly, is like this, I might just check out the pilot.
I hope they keep the theme music and don't butcher it, like so many new series do with old theme. Except the new "Quantum Leap", which chose to DUMP the classic old theme music altogether.
