Can we have a limit of 3 RIP threads per day? Surely the recently departed would understand. They're in no rush anyways.
Afraid of death, eh?
The Non-Filmscore Discussion Thread has turned into the fracking "Obituaries"!
Which is made all the more apparent when that one FSMer proceeds to do (informative) weeks-long career retrospectives.
I remember when Peter O'Toole finally died and there were dozens of posts in his R.I.P. thread. I thought it was the outpouring of collective, film-loving FSMer grief instead of one man's mission in life.

I hope DiMucci is getting overtime pay. Would suck if he was on salary.
Dont u be knocking Dimooch - he does a sterling job. Its not his fault if stars snuff it in 3s. It means celebs here get at least a worthy thread to commemorate their work. Better than 8 people saying rip and love to his/her family!

Did Patrick O'Neal once lie down in a turtleneck sweater hands behind his head upon a dark walnut wood bed in a hotel room with a pumpkin colored bedspread and Gerald Ford era plaid floor to ceiling curtains complete with beige wall to wall carpeting lamenting why he almost always got offered villain parts instead of the hero?

Did we ever discuss my family's late-'70s RCA television with the faux brass drawer handle? The kind of television that required four sober adults in order for it to be moved?

Yessssss. I can actually picture this scene clearly in my head!
