Looks delicious, Michael. Most Norwegian Christmas beers are of the stout kind, and I've never been a fan of those. I'll have perhaps ONE during an entire evening, that's it. But I'll look around the wine monopoly, and see if I can have any seasonal beers handy at the meeting.
Lovely meeting (for me, in multiple parts from 5 PM untill 2 AM). Good balance of beverages, water-only for the last hour or so. What were the main topics? I remember FIDDLER ON THE ROOF & musicals, Christopher Young, a round on what composers we've met, the corona situation and Christmas celebrations.
Yes, good fun! Cheers to all! We also had a bit about tracing our ancestry, the quiz with John Williams and a mango, and the part when Sandra Bullock burst in wearing tight leather gear.
Ha! I had completely forgotten about that thread. By the way, I still do film music lectures, and the "main recipe" is found in the elements of that thread.
Happy Christmas Cheers zoom friends! I've enjoyed all our meet ups this past year. Hope to see you all again soon!
Same to you Thomas! The Cheers zoom meetings have been a lot of fun! Anyone have plans for today or tomorrow? Another couple is coming over tonight for some drinks and appetizers, so Cosmos for them and my wife, and Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA for me.
I'd like to wish everyone -- Cheers Zoomers and beyond -- a happy new year!
I've stocked up on beverages tonight. A red wine, a white wine and a selection of beers -- mostly IPAs and Belgian blondes. I'm celebrating alone, due to the covid situation, but I'm making a great dinner and enjoying myself. Will be a nice change of pace.
Happy New Year to all! I've had a few lunchtime James Bonders, now getting ready for dinner at my son's place. I'll drink whatever he's got in, I'm not buying anything. True Scot!
There is no meeting planned for tonight, but if anyone wants to join an impromptu meeting, there's one going on now with me, Alan (Fakirkbairn) and Thomas from Maintitles. Feel free to join if you wish:
