Hi guys! There will be a meeting this upcoming Friday, from 21:30 Oslo time. Link the same as before. Hope to see you there! Unfortunately that pesky annoyance called "work" has gotten in the way, so I won't be able to join. Have a great time everyone and I will try and make the next meeting.

Thor, I realise that you're probably trying to keep this "semi-secret", like we do at Alcoholics Anonymous, but I'm not sure of the current link. "Same as before" as in what was posted in June (I think) last year? Could you confirm it please, at the risk of being swamped by our aunties joining in with bursts of "The hills are alive..." and dropping hot Tetley tea bags in our already sodden laps? I'll be drinking water by the way. I'm now really into getting up early on Saturdays and going for a run. Then back to bed till 12.

Sorry to hear about your new habit of getting up on Saturdays to run, Graham! Link is https://us04web.zoom.us/j/4386804511?pwd=ZXRYeFJtem5rUTlOTVFoNWRSS28xdz09 No water here! I've bought a good selection of specialty beers for tonight, many of which will already be consumed by 21:30. I've also bought a whole carton of red wine (not to be consumed tonight alone, but to last me a couple of weeks before it turns sour, hopefully). It's called Icono, and is from your neck of the woods, Graham. Don't ask me about details; I've never tried it before and don't know anything about wine. If it's any comfort to your new regime, Graham, I have to set a cut-off point at 01:00 Oslo time, and I will also be drinking water for the last two hours or so. Need to reign in those hangovers a bit.

I hope to be there, but I may be a bit late. With the warm weather and longer evening sunshine, I'll probably be tempted to sit out later at one of the street cafés watching the lorries speed past.

Just to be pre-emptive: I must have some sort of cut-off point....2 AM Oslo time at the latest for me. No problems there, Thor. In my old age I usually feel like going to bed around midnight, even at weekends. Then I get up at 7 o'clock on Sundays and walk into town for the newspaper. I am now officially old. And how I laughed at the satirical publication (crass comic) "Viz" when in my student days I read in their "Top Tips" page - "Pretend you're an old-age pensioner by getting up on Sundays at 7 o'clock and walking into town for the newspaper".

That was a good one Thor. Thanks. But why were there only three of us left at the bar at the end? Are we so scary/boring that everyone flees from us? Speak up those who abandoneth us - you know who you are. And, so do we.

Speak up those who abandoneth us - you know who you are. And, so do we. I was hoping that you would carry on the ongoing conversation when the final session started rather than wonder why I left. The session-ending break seemed like a convenient moment to stop. It was an enjoyable chat. Thanks all. (If you were thinking of someone else just ignore my comments above.)

It was a plural you, Bairn. So I was including you (singular) in my finger-pointing. You just got fed up with us, didn't you? It was only 5 o'clock in the morning in Falkirk. No excuse for "going to bed".
