So you just finished weeks of graphics work on your EA sports advert, for sky sports. Culminating in graphic footage of a rare Ward-prowse goal celebration in west ham kit. ...Then he signs for Forest. Lol

The keeper saved that, pushed it over the bar. But yeah, really should be putting it in from there.

Liam Delap is indeed Rory's son, he was at Manc City for a while. Ireland were hopeful he would declare for them like his dad and Rory wanted him to as well, but he decided to go with England.

Match of the Day. The sending-off of Arsenal's Rice was unfortunate. Letter of the law and all that, but the Brighton player should have been punished too - he knew exactly what he was doing. Deserved a booking at least.

Only the Nations League... though if results get like that get rid of Deschamps the French will rejoice!

Ungrateful French bastards. As a manager, he "only" got them to two World Cup Finals, winning one, and was the captain of the '98 World Cup-winning side.

I watched the France v Italy match. Italy played very well, which was a bit unexpected after the Euros. Viaplay don't broadcast here anymore, but they showed the match on their Youtube channel. Curious thing though that there was no commentary, just the sound of the crowd. They also showed the Belgium v Israel match, which had neither commentary nor crowd.

S4C showed the Cymru v Turkiye match, which did have commentary and I didn't understand a word of it.

What were the chances of the two England players, who played for Ireland at youth level, both score against Ireland?

When the crowd booed them from the kickoff I’d say close to inevitable!

It was a cert to happen that one or both of them would score, I should've put a bet on it. Rice has a few caps for Ireland at senior level, though they were obviously friendlies. It was much as I expected, though I thought Ireland might have made it a bit more awkward for England. Far too easy for them. If it wasn't for Kelleher it could have been six and you wouldn't argue. Him and Ogbene did alright, and that's about it.
