Liverpool just scraped the three points at Fulham so go into the international break at the top of the table. Brighton won their FA Cup quarter final on penalties.
Millwall deserved to nick it, were faves probly even in the shoot out once they went 1 up aftr brighton miss. Shame. But millwall can be proud - they shudnt be getting to last 8 of fa cup n taking the scalps they did so admirable cup campaign.
Now gotta watch another slow n dreary 60 mins of chelsea making everton look good!!

Eleven games in just 32 days (including five matches in eight days!) thanks to a shortened season before the Mexico World Cup and the personal dislike of the club and manager by Alan Hardaker, a fool who was in charge of the Football League at the time. Leeds finished second in the league, semi finalists in the European Cup and beaten finalists in the FA Cup, but it was the first serious tilt at the treble by anybody.
And we were fined £5,000 for putting an under-strength team out in one of the league games after a warning from the club doctor that several players were dangerously exhausted. No wonder we have little liking for the authorities.

That Brighton equaliser in the last ten seconds reminded me of Ronaldinho's fluke goal against Seaman in 2002. Should have stayed on his line.

Ha, I'm glad the animals out of it. I didn't see much of the game, but Millwall's first goal shouldn't have stood with that huge foul in the box, & according to the radio pundits, that would be Brighton winning goal was in fact onside...& if they can't see out a game 2-0 up with ten minutes to go, they don't deserve to win (I'm not much of a Millwall fan)
...& it's been a great week for UK clubs in Europe.

Our teams? Mostly full of foreign players, foreign managers and foreign owners. Don't delude yourself. I was actually pleased to see Cyrus Christie come on for Fulham today, an Irishman on the pitch on St Patrick's Day!

Quite right, I totally agree. I've changed a couple of words in my post.
Bolton Wanderers have been given two weeks to settle their debts or risk going into administration.
The club, who are up for sale, appeared in the High Court on Wednesday over an unpaid £1.2m tax bill.
However, it is understood owner Ken Anderson has agreed terms with a buyer who will pay off their debts and the hearing was adjourned until 3 April.
The supposed new buyer is said to already own a major stake in a "high-level football club".
The Championship club now have 14 days to complete a takeover and clear their debts to avoid a winding-up order, which would leave them facing administration or liquidation and a points deduction.
