Jeh, I get the feeling they don't want to vaccinate you...just a hunch, like...

Joking aside, it looks more like it might be down to you not having any history of medical records or GP sign up histories?
Could be you're not/weren't on any books?
But yeah, that's a comedy of errors listed right there (future Monty Python sketch?).

Ha! Yes, it's got a bit of a cheese shop vibe to it.

I can also imagine Esther Rantzen reading it out on That's Life (occasionally cutting to Doc Cox for the "not eligible" bits).

It's been a decade or so since I've been to doctor but I should still be on the system.

An ex of mine was an administrator for the NHS database. Maybe this is her revenge!

"Ah ha...!" As michael caine says as Sherlock Holmes, "...There you have it!"

Just a thought but i bet if you print that up n sent it to the manager of your GP surgery, you would get an instant apologetic phone call and the fastest appointment since i told my energy provider i was thinking of leaving.

So since I'm fully vaccinated I finally went to the dentist for the first time in two years, and it went great! All I had was a chipped filling and he fixed it in ten minutes!

I hope everyone's following Dr. John Campbell (mentioned several times before on this thread) on his YouTube channel. Cutting through all the shit and getting to the point based on statistics and scientific evidence. And on a worldwide level too, so very little navel gazing.

As usual, he seems to be about three months ahead of the negligent criminals in charge of the governments of the two countries I know best (the UK and Spain). So, we have what I would call criminals in charge, followed by an unfortunately large minority of braindead citizens proclaiming that "Phew, it's all over. Back to normal, party time. Pity about a few Indians in Calcutta, but they're barely human anyway. Right, mine's a pint mate."

As far as I can see, none of the new variants have been proved to be more deadly, just more transmissible, plus the various vaccines seem to work on all the variants. I don't think any government has come out & stated that, I just don't think they want to be proved wrong, as all this stuff is still being worked on. As for things being opened up this week, I don't think I'm going to notice any difference, as I'm not a pub goer or eater-outer. I am enjoying going around the shops & markets & just generally getting out & about.

I was supposed to get a broken tooth pulled last year just when the pandemic started but my appointment was canceled. Kinda used to living with the pain now. roll eyes

Hey buddy! It's amazing what you can get used too, but you should have it taken care of. My dad recently had a tooth pulled and got in implant, it's also amazing what dentist can do nowadays.smile

I'm hearing reports this morning that in Bolton, one of the Indian variant hotspots, that only five people have been hospitalized, & for various reasons, none of them had been vaccinated, & that the vaccine works fine on that (& all other) variants. I'm not saying go mad, but get out there & be careful.

Thanks, I'm contemplating just having my teeth pulled and getting dentures. Much cheaper in the long run!

Finally got it sorted and had the jab yesterday. No side effects to speak of.

Microsoft is a great company. Bill Gates is like a god. Windows 10 is the most innovative piece of software ever written. Microsoft is a great company.

Surely a serious sign of problems that Lukas had to close a thread because talking about anti vaxxer is now considered "politics".
Lunacy. When getting vaccines is considered political the end off us is not far off

Good news, infection rates are falling thanks to the vaccines! They are highly effective and safe! My aunt who has been putting her shot off just received her second dose yesterday, and she's doing great.

Watch out. Talking about talking about politics is probably classed as political.
