So, anyone here other than me whom will work harder - physically, that is - on the Labor Day "Holiday" (yard work, gardening, home repair, etc.) than they do on any normal work day?

I'm right with you, buddy.
That's my situation, too.

Oh crap, I just realized I didn't put it in the form of a question.
Sorry.
I mean... um, sorry?

Why do I eat things I know I'm going to regret later? Once in a while I just have to eat a krautdog - a hotdog with sauerkraut and a little spicy brown mustard, knowing what it's going to do to my digestive process.
I mean, how can I yell at my dog for eating grass if it has the same effect on her as a krautdog does on me?

eek

So, kissing originated during the caveman days when a mother
would chew up food for a child and spit it into their mouths
because the babes had yet to develop chewing teeth.

Shaking hands comes from olden days of proving that you
didn't have a weapon.
"Here's my hand. See, I don't have a weapon, so I am not
threatening you."
"I also do not have a weapon as my hand is empty also.
Therefore, I mean you no harm."

But, I am still confounded and cannot find a historical purpose
of the necktie which is, in effect, a noose around one's neck.

And what if yours isn't broken, when they say fix bayonets. What do you do?

When pulled tight, during meal times it stops crumbs slipping down your shirt.

I was told that dogs eat grass, knowing it makes them sick. This is to bring up something else they've eaten, that doesn't agree with them.

Remember when folks used to say "Never leave the house without wearing clean underwear."? Well, did you ever?

Indeed, but sadly for my doggie anyway, you never know which way it will go. Seems to be about 50/50 as to whether it goes out the front or back...

That statement relies purely on whether you saw the car coming or not.

Remember McDonalds' "Super Size" menu?

Why didn't Pfizer ever develop a blue pill "Super Size" version?

Where is it written that a prosthetic limb must resemble the limb it's replacing?
