There's too many euro games, whether it's Europa League or Champions League. Too many teams, too many matches. That club world cup thing they won is a shite barrel of pointless nothing.

Even that Club World Cup tournament is to be expanded next year, with more teams and games. The problem is those euro games get the big audiences and revenue. No one is sitting down to watch Bournemouth v Norwich on a Friday night.

Well you know my thoughts. Dump the League Cup, dump FA Cup replays, dump the Europa League, dump the Club World Cup. And make the Euros 16 teams instead of 24 again.

But none of that will ever happen.

Worse it's going the other way. CL looking to add an extra round of games. Club World Cup expanding massively. Then they complain when clubs field weakened sides.

Not a great game tonight. Bmth seemed not to be able to get good control of the ball(?). Still, now that the F.A. Cup's out of the way, perhaps they can devote their efforts to staying up in the Prem.

The mighty Hammers to spring a surprise on Wednesday night. Seeing as you're all out of optimism Bill, I'll provide some!

Just looking at the PL table, I'd really love to see the bottom teams win this weekend, siimply because it puts pressure on all those teams 5th to 14th. It's getting quite congested, and therefore a lot more fun.

We will struggle to beat brighton at weekend let alone liverpool.
Jurgs cud take the week off n play the kids and we'd still lose heavily!!

Hey xeb bolton re-sign will buckley.

Oh wow! That's....yah, no Bolton fan rates him at all...more often injured than not. Yet another non-signing. Yeesh. I think he's supposed to be a non-scoring striker but i honestly can't recall.

I'm sorry to say Xebec that Bolton's points deficit is now looking terminal. 18 points to safety - too big.

Oh for sure. I'm a little disappointed we haven't made a bit better of a fist of pulling back that deficit but i can understand why not. We've had so many injuries it's been absurd, then in January lost 4 or 5 of our loan players who were all our best players. Next year is what matters. Hoping to come straight back up but to be honest i don't even know what the team will be so will be lucky if we make play-offs. Could be mid-table obscurity. Hopefully the League don't apply another penalty to us like they want to.

Exciting opening 20mins at villa. Plenty chances.
Liecester probably should be ahead but its 1 0 villa.
