In fact, if there's one thing that could undermine this thread, it's that almost every romantic comedy ever made could conceivably be an Elvis Presley film. And I'm not even a particular fan, either of Elvis or of romantic comedies.

The tag-line on the original movie poster (can anyone supply the US image) declares of the glamourised youth depicited "This is his present". Picture of Elvis bare-chested, "This is his Preslet".
