Yup. In the first film the 'girl' killed a man who molested her. She was proficient with a knife and an expert diver and fisher. In the NEXT THREE she literally saved Bond's life! (Clicks the Like button.)

The source also said "Bond girls" has been replaced with "Bond women." Bond PR people have been offering up that chestnut for every film since 1977, at least. Exactly. Well, t o be fair, the.girls in the first two Moore flicks were not " strong, capable , independent " women.

I was pretty much done with the franchise in it's current incarnation. Now I definitely am through with it. Plenty of the old ones to watch. Is Cubby Broccoli's wife still in charge? She said James Bond should always be a man. It's his daughter now.

Or in a sitcom....50 years!

I look forward to the next "Charlie's Angels" remake being all male. Seriously, why not? An angel can be male or female, so this might be a good idea. I'd pick three male angels from the "Chris" guys. (Evans, Pratt, Hemsworth, Pine.) Could be fun. From what I've read, James Bond did retire at the end of the last Bond movie, and MI calls him back to help solve the big conflict. While he was retired, MI gave a lady his 007 number, which seems rather silly. Considering how James Bond has saved the world for decades now, why not just retire his number the way we do for irreplaceable retiring athletes? However, I do think we will be doing James Bond movies for future decades, and he'll retain the number 007.

For several reasons. This buttressed from 007 being cast as a female, in a role that has always been male. So, I now has to re-state what I've said before because some people have their heads screwed on ass backwards: That is not a complaint about a woman being an MI5 agent; there must be a 006, a 008, etc., and those can be women; there's nothing wrong with a woman being a MI5 agent in a James Bond universe film. What's wrong is the Genitalia Justice Warriors (AKA: Douchebags with too much time on their hands and an internet connection) think shoving somebody based on which sex they are, into a role that has always been male, is the thing to do now; instead of making a, say, 005 movie, they want 007 female. Content of their character, acting capabilities, physical build for the role, etc., don't matter, instead the regressives in Hollywood de-humanize an individual and look first and foremost as their sex, their skin color, and their ethnicity sometimes. "Charlie's Angels" has always been female. And it should stay that way. I seriously doubt Charlie has men working for him that he calls "Angels". If Hollywood can crank out an original idea revolving around guys working for a mystery man, that is not in the "Charlie's Angels" universe, then go for it. The Hulk wasn't replaced with a women, they created She-Hulk. He-Man wasn't replaced with a woman, they created She-Ra. The Slayers in Whedon's Buffy-verse have always been female and it should stay that way (and not, don't tell me about that one male Slayer in his terrible comics; seriously, screw his BtVS comics)
