It was Blazing Saddles night in chez palace- beans, belly pork n egg. We went the whole hog and dressed as cowboys for tea. I even had some nasty chaps around my legs.

Finally, something that looks like edible food. (To a Yank!)

I turned off the color on my screen before I opened this thread.

Now I'm afraid to turn it back on. smile

Tonight's delight. What it may lack on presentation ( before anyone sez) it makes up for on taste. Sliced Gammon, small roasties, mashed carrot n turnip, sweet potato, Yorkshire puddings and mango slices ( they healthy bit).

There's a method to my madness in buying so much sausage. It goes great with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. All that sausage grease adds to the deliciousness. smile

Adam, looks quite nice. Though I would need something else in in there, myself.

Nope. All cooked by my dad, a good cook.

Taking it easy tonight. A cheese n beans slice. And the green mess was leek slices with a piece of cheese on top of each.

Was it delicious? Let me tell you, the most delectable meal I've had lately is a hearty sweet potato casserole(https://sweetandsavorymeals.com/sweet-potato-casserole-recipe/) paired with an assortment of vibrant and savory vegetables. The medley of flavors in this dish was simply extraordinary. The sweet potatoes, roasted perfectly, offered a delightful contrast to the savory and tender veggies. Each bite was a burst of taste and texture that left a lasting impression. It's safe to say; that I'll be craving that sweet potato casserole for quite some time.
