YIKES! Friday was a rough one...I kept it going for 13 hours straight, ending at a nachspiel somewhere downtown! And saturday wasn't much better, although I stayed away from the nachspiel this time. Those two days gave the title "Black Sunday" new meaning. big grin Oh well, here's another week to taunt us, and I'll be back with another prompt in a few days (and yes, Timmer, I know you don't need a push towards the golden brew!).

Ah...Thunderbird! The elite of the bunch.
There used to be an old radio jingle which went like:
"What's the word? /Thunderbird/ How's it sold?/ Good and cold/What's the jive?/ Bird's alive/ What's the price?/ Thirty twice."
In college I remember an extra added refrain as "What's the reason?" "Pussy season!"

Nostalgic education days.

Thanks, that's nice. I'll return it asap (although my friends will probably give me a puzzled look when I raise my glass to say: "Here's to Sis!"). big grin

Blah!! Just one beer for me today, as I have an audition at the National Theater School tomorrow morning at 8.30! That's right, I'm applying for the acting class that only admits 8 people out of a whopping 800!!! Of course, I won't make it anyhow (it's just for fun, really), but there's no need to make it worse with a hangover.

But YOU guys, however, should head for the pub! NOW! big grin

Thanks, you guys! I'm not really sure about the audition yesterday. Even though I wasn't particularly nervous, I did quite a few mistakes and "rushed" through my monologue (which was from Ionesco's RHINOCEROS, btw) more than I should have. But at least I got to use my voice on a few occasions. The judges didn't say anything, but I'll know by march 9!

At 26, I was one of the oldest applicants, though. I don't know if that's an advantage or a drawback.

Alright. Heading for a few beers now, and then a few more at a film quiz that is being arranged by the Cinema Club downtown. Even though there will be countless nerds who do nothing but see films all day long, I hope for a good result with my team.

Have a nice weekend, everyone! smile
