I wonder if TG got tickets for the test? Not too often Headingley gets the big tests, and this is the first ashes test there in a decade apparently.

We have tickets for the fourth day, should there be one.

Skittled for 67! Don't say you weren't warned by Ireland!

Although we haven't started our second innings in the best fashion.

This will go down in infamy for England. Losing an Ashes series at home is one thing, but to hand them over in such horrible fashion...

I really hope the ECB don't blame Bayliss just because he's leaving. There need to be bigger changes.
If Denly plays the Fourth Test, there is something seriously wrong.

Off to day four shortly. Could there be a legendary day ahead?

No. The new ball is eight overs away and the Aussies will wrap this up pretty quickly.

Hope you didn’t have money on it wrapping up before lunch!

I'm betting on an Aussie win. I have seen too many recent England collapses. Bairstow, Buttler and Woakes gone in quick succession.

I see England won then and keep the ashes alive. I imagine TG had a good day!

Well, there's a crazy turn-up.
Tg should go watch england more often!

I'm eating crow. What an astonishing finish. A real 'where were you when...' moment.

I'm sorry Bill but this is one of those moments when I really can't understand your hatred of cricket!

I don’t think I’d ever better that.

I get bored with 20 mins of football if its dull, so four/five days of test match where only the last few hours are actually tense isnt my idea of thrilling.
Its the right sport for a gentle summer's day on a village green when you want to sunbathe, maybe have a kip, have a picnic and sip a few pints of beer. Just dont ask me along! wink

Jimmy out of the Ashes. Recurrence of calf injury. Craig Overton called up.

Denly confirmed to be opening with Roy at four. Root still at three. Buttler still picked. I am genuinely baffled, for the Fourth Test in a row.

We have batted horribly throughout - what does it take for these selectors to come to their senses? Wasn't Headingley enough of a warning?

What has Buttler brought to this series? Absolutely nothing. I would pick Curran in his place - he guarantees runs!

Yup. And his replacement, who we also struggle to get out, is staying in the side. Joyous.
