I had a day out in Oxford today (I bought the train tickets last week, only £13 return from London if bought early), I hoped the weather would be nice, but this was too nice, very hot. The train journey was nice with the air conditioning, but Oxford was bloody hot, I got home about 17.30, & luckily had a bottle 0f Beaujolais in the fridge (thank you Lidl). Looking at the news, Paris was worse.

Big thunder and lightning in Seattle tonight - I'm just hoping that the power doesn't fail on me (at least until I'm asleep in bed!)

Heavy mist. Heavy enough that it wet the ground like rain.

Today we have a strong chance of politics coming in from the left, driven, historically, by hurricane Marshall, plus there is a high probability of zero humour, prickly heat and frostiness on large areas of TCM threads, especially during the evenings.

The weather is being increasingly affected by climate change.

We've had several days of snow in Oslo (extremely irritating), but right now it's rain and temps slightly above 0 C. I hope it stays that way for a while; snow in the city is incredibly cumbersome for me since I'm dependent on my bicycle to get around.
