England can beat Spain, but they might have to go with 4 at the back again. You wouldn't want to give those Spanish wingers a chance to run amok in free spaces.
Well I got it wrong again. Shocked by that Watkins goal. We've had three high quality goals this tournament, goals you don't usually see scored by England.
Whatever happens in the final, Southgate's legacy is secure. Can't argue with two finals and a semi in four tournaments, even if the quality was low. No shame in losing to that Spain side.
I think I've been more optimistic about England's chances in this tournament than you guys, I don't know how that happened!
It's amazing to think that all that money in the Premier League over the last three decades or so, bringing in the best managers and players from Europe and elsewhere has no doubt helped the national team. England now have players technically as good as any other country in Europe and have plenty of options, which hasn't always been the case.
Man, I'm drunk. 1 beer. Love that when you take a few days off.
Anyway, does England win, which propels them to a potential WC in when is it 2026? I can't remember. Argentina winning it still feels like yesterday.
However, to whomever watched, what was the England Pain Scale? 10 brutal (Slovakia level), or 1 playing like their pants are on fire?
I'll cheer for Columbia I guess over Uruguay. I LOL when the press try to build Copa up. 'Uruguay has 15 titles.' 'Brazil don't give a damn about this tournament.'
I'm glad England won. It'll make for an exciting final, although I'll be watching it at home because the local bars will be hoping for an England win. In fact, they won't care either way because (as the graffiti says on MY garage) - TURIST! GALIZA IS NOT ESPAIN!
I had to laugh when ITV showed the pundits' reaction to the late LATE winning goal. Gary Neville and Ian Wright exploded in joy, jumping around etc...while Roy Keane (Irish) stood stock still, looking like someone had just told him his dog had died. Ally McCoist (Jock) also didn't sound too happy either, on the co-mic. Maybe they should let them sit the Final out?
Aye Thomas, it's a strange thing, but I don't know (m)any Koppites who put country before club and care that much about the national team. It's just a bunch of players primarily from various London and Manchester clubs that we don't like. There's even a fkn blue nose in there. Even when it contains the odd Liverpool player or two, we're more worried about how injured or tired they will be when they get back from international duty. I've got Spain in the sweep so I know who I'm rooting for on Sunday night.

I'm "more American" than John Wayne and Old Glory, and even I don't care about Copa America!
