Film studios are not in the business of historic preservation. They are in the business of making films and making money off of the films. They have every right to delete things from the catalog for any reason they want, whether we like it or not. Yes, & we have every right to comment on that decision. And I really don't give a damn, anyone who want's it can buy the Blu-ray, I have the 70th anniversary edition with all the extras, but I doubt if I'll every look at it again, nothing to do with the racism, it's more that it's a bit of a stretch, esp. the boring second half. Completely agree, but there are not enough people who care.

These are some strange old times we're living through.

Maybe I missed it but I don't remember any fuss over the character Pappa Lazeroo Frome the league of gentle men. First thing I thought when I read about Little Britain. Think it's also the reason why The Goodies aren't repeated.

These are some strange old times we're living through. I have a room full of LPs, hundreds of which have never crossed over into the digital realm. I shed no tears over "Gone with the Wind." The reasons behind the deletions don't make the deletions any better or worse. On the bright side, you can go to the Herman Miller website and still buy classic Eames and George Nelson designs. Gotta take the good with the bad.
