How many stories about rich kids who are lost, presumed dead, live in a faraway (Asian) land, learn martial arts, and return home only to find their (murdered) father's company has been taken over by criminals, can we take? I think I managed 3 episodes of season 2 before I called it quits. A shame. What would have been a great continuation is if they actually DID go up in the Salvation ark, but they obviously didn't have the budget for that -- instead resorting to tried-and-true political intrigue and shenanigans down on earth. I binged the whole first season yesterday. It sucks balls that both COLONY and THE LAST MAN ON EARTH have been cancelled. Just ordered the dvd form the library!    Posted:   Sep 13, 2018 - 11:06 AM     By:   Thor   (Member) Not a lot of shows on at the moment that I've been following for a long time (only FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, BETTER CALL SAUL and yesterday the premiere of the new season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY), so I thought I'd give a new series a chance -- the aforementioned recommendation of BRAINDEAD. I always thought this was a series adaptation of the Peter Jackson movie, but it's obviously something completely different. A fun satire on US politics as seen through an INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS-type sci fi setting. I like it! Will certainly watch the rest of the show, even if was cancelled after just one season. Added bonus that my hero Ridley Scott is the producer as well.
