Thor's directions to open a new window or tab confuse me because I'm a tech idiot. I'll play around a bit, but if no picture is posted from me, just move on. My daughters may visit me in the next month or two, and I'll ask them to help me if I don't figure it all out soon.

A few people here know how I look like but I guess most of you don`t so with that in mind I can tell you that when I was young back in the eighties I imagined myself looking a bit like Gregg Henry when I get older but now when I am older I do not look like him, that`s for sure.

I usually "right click" on the picture and one of the options is "copy image address". I then select that, then "paste" it in my post, delete the http:// bit and then use the IMG special legend code around it.

The IMG special legend code is located to the left of the box you write in when you write a post.

But I'm using a Mac.

I can't remember the Windows equivalent of "copy image address" when you right click a picture.

Just as gentle favour to you, I'm prepared to imagine you look like this hunky dude:

Or if you prefer it, this:

Or if that still doesn't work, this:

As for Jimp Phelps:
(what else?)

As for myself:

I so very much wish that were a joke.

Thanks, Doggie. I'm a senior citizen now, so I only looked like that free spirited woman many years ago.

However David, I always pictured you looking like
Guy Madison because of your moniker. Am I close? He was a handsome actor.

Gosh, no. I was told more than once I looked like I could be the brother of Craig Scheffer (who played the brother of Brad Pitt in THE RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT). But that was quite a while ago.

Dammit....I can only imagine Jim Phelps looking like this...

Yeah, me too. Although, after seeing him dropping a cluster nerd bombs in a mad burst, I began to think of him like the guy in The Simpsons who stockpiles ammo.

No, we know that Tall Guy has a sort of beard thing, so that leaves only one possibility....

No, no and no!

This/these joke/jokes got past me, Your Lordship. Are you talking about Gandalf?

Good heavens, everyone has a different image of what TG looks like.

Having finally met him, I can say that no one is right.

This is what i figured thor to be - dodging the germans while trying to blow up their heavy water!

Thor has the hair for this. But Thor's chin-crater is about 2 inches too low (he has a chin cleft instead).

Joan, assuming you are using Windows....

When you do the google image search, click on the image you want. It should open and isolate in a special portion of the browser window.

Right-click on THAT image
and choose "View Image". That will give you a browser window with ONLY the picture in it.

Go up into the address bar where it says "http://etc......" Copy that URL, to use in the [ img]code here.
