I'll be on the lookout for 'coconut water' the next time I'm in the grocery store. Thanks for the tip!

Now that you've slammed into middle age, Thor, beware of the gassy bloating that sparkling coconut water will provide.

I have no idea. Extremely drunk right now. Rave.

Coco-what?

Coconuts, Thor. I realize they don't grow in Norway, but every piece of property in the United States comes with its own coconut tree, by decree of law. You have to climb the tree while drunk and then spend a half hour hitting the coconut with a hammer, but drinking the coconut water is well worth the trouble if you want to feel good the next day.

There are two things Norway doesn't do, Onya: one is Halloween, and the other is coconuts.

Norway do Halloween...or at least the kids do it.

Interesting. Tangerine Dream ale brewed by Craftwerke (almost Kraftwerk) -- should be doubly interesting. Except that I'm dreading it will taste like tangerine -- which is not my favourite taste for beer.

Geezes, I'm drunk.

Had a lot speciality beers today, as well as a bottle of white wine. All alone, but it works.

People who are drunk don't write like that. It's a farce. You're sober and covering up a crime. I saw it in Columbo.

That also happened on "Quincy, M.E."

Have some Carlsberg (the 16oz cans) at the ready for the weekend's home festival ("Festival!") of 1990s Tarantino film wannabes and the three Gandy Fitch episodes of The Rockfish Files.

Oh, and Easter Sunday will be a meal at the Irish pub, so there will be Guinness.

As much as Thor drinks, you'd think his liver would have started a protest blog.

While on holiday in Rhode Island this past week I became quite enamored with Whalers Rise beer. The stuff is delightful on tap, or, had I stayed in Rhode Island any longer, directly from the tap.

Interesting! Never heard of that.

As FB said, I never stopped drinking. Had a massive binge/party with fellow film critics just this Monday, for example. But sometimes, I don't feel like sharing in this thread. I've planned to down a bottle of white wine tonight, as well as some specialty beers. I just discovered a mango IPA(!) in the grocery store. I hope it's not too 'cidery'.

Yeah, I try and "drink local" when I travel. A lot of times those beers aren't available on draft where I live.

Beer snobs will recoil in disgust, but I've also become fond of Carlsberg. I get the cans because the (imported) bottled stuff is in green bottles, so it has a tendency to skunk.

Not too fond of Carlsberg, but I often drink Tuborg. A very 'standard' beer, but for cheaper "everyday" beers, when you just need a bit of refreshment, it's one of my favs.

Since my holiday wraps up this weekend, I've chosen to mourn its end with some Anchor Steam Brewer's Pale Ale Citra Hop Blend later tonight.

I didn't know you could still get Tuborg. Haven't had it in years, it's not available in pubs or even off licences where I am. Didn't realise it was still a thing. Carlsberg isn't great, though aren't they changing the taste?
