If I come across it by accident whilst channel-hopping, it's very hard not to just settle back and watch the rest of it regardless of where you join it.

I honestly can't think of a moment in GBU or FAFDM that drags in the slightest. Now, if you'd said Once Upon A Time in the West I could understand, even though I love that too.

I concur with these two.

I've never seen The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. In fact I've never seen a whole slew of classic films. Citizen Cane, Gone With the Wind, It's a Wonderful Life, Godfather, Rocky, etc.

Skip Citizen Kane and GWTW, but do get around to seeing IAWL, Godfather I and II, and yes, Rocky.

...and GBU, of course. smile

Never seen "Halloween" either. (any of them)

Now you're just entering The Land of Wuss! See these movies, man! What the hell were you doing in the '70s anyway?!?,

And no, you can't have my email to tell me, either! wink

Just watch the 1978 Halloween, and skip the rest.

Et tu mitch? smile

We are going to need a lot of shovels.

GBU universally recognised as one of the most popular and entertaining westerns ever made - except among the deliberately-contrary renegades, traitors and unbelievers on nfsd. Ha ha wink

Hah. You speak the truth, Bill. big grin

As long as BillCarson keeps quoting lines from the script this goddamn thread will never die!

Well its a film where we have plenty of endless choice lines to choose from.
In fact ive not quoted any lines for 3 days - and yet you have managed to keep the thread going by repeatedly telling us about your rather routine CD review that somehow got an award from the Soundtrack Reviewers Brotherhood (ceo B Marshall).

I'm not only PUBLISHED (countless reviews in Movie Music and Music From The Movies magazine, plus Fred Karlin quoted my reviews in one of his books), but there's a couple of photos of me in one of those lovely big glossy MFTM magazines that they did (the LOTR cover one, if I remember correctly), but you don't hear me bangin' on about it Bruce (until just now, that is) wink

Solium, see The Godfather.

And if you happen to have an extra 3 1/2 hours after that, see The Godfather Part II.

They're both worth the time.

(You can skip III. In fact, pretend it doesn't exist.)

I'm probably at age where I can appreciate those films now. And yes I've heard all the horror stories about the third film.

Try quoting the script in the original Italian.
THAT would be worth reading.
