As Thor would say, I've never had a connection to this band (I "should have" but never embraced their music), but the guitar riff instantly returns me to that 1987-1989 timeframe.
Good solo album by Morten, FB. I don't think it's quite as good as Wild Seed or Letter From Egypt, although the title track is probably one of his best. I wish he would get a move on and release his next one, which he says he's been working on for ages. Magne has his new solo album out shortly.
Yes it is. It was released not long after a-ha's Foot Of The Mountain album, although the songs are nowhere near as good. I would give the two earlier albums I mentioned a listen and see what you think. Wild Seed is a great album especially, a big hit in Norway at the time. Coincidentally, it's Morten's 65th birthday today!
I have never picked up Wild Seed, much because I never liked that Christmas Card tune, lol. Spanish Steps is good though. Special memories of the mid 90s.
