That recipe for spicy cheese on toast looks yummy. I should try it.

To be clear the cheese slices I used are already spiced with chilli. The mix I put under it is nice. It gives it a fresh feel and you can put a little of what you like in it. If you make too much, keep it in fridge for 2/3 days, or longer if it doesn't go on the turn. Sometimes it tastes better when it's had time to ferment a bit.

Today: a nice breaky. Piece of cod and one of my mixes- onion, mushrooms, bellpepper, radish, avocado and a bit of chilli tomato pesto.

Tonight: A Melton Mowbray pork pie (£1.99), some pickle onions, various sauces ( that were on the table) and some beetroot( eaten off camera).

Tonight: corned beef butties ( pic.1) with mushrooms, tomato and one of the palace special mixes (pic.2). Finished off with a half tea spoon of chilli pickle

Last night ( coz the board was down again): curry n rice, samosas, chicken pekoras, bhajis and veggie spring rolls ( what you see × 2= a bit less than a tenner)

Tonight: boiled spuds(£1.89 a bag), left over peas and some tinned burgers ( £1.99 for 3). They taste nice but aren't as good as 'proper' burgers. My dad calls the scrapey ( made from bits scraped off the floor). Even better I know someone who says they are made from 'eyes and arseholes '- their phrase.

Breakfast: two pitta bread (£1.20 for 4)filled with the rest- haslet( £1.84 for 4 slices) a, tomatoes,mushrooms( 95p) and my mix( chilli pickle,radish,bell peppers spring onion and a bit of chilli tomato pesto to freshen it up).

Add the word 'crispy' and your sentence would be perfect. However it's not actually white, more like a grey. He said I'd sliced it too thin. Well, he could've warmed it in the mic for about 30 secs.

Breakfast today: some crumpets ( about 80p for six) with chicken tikka sandwich spread. Unusual you may think but it was lovely.
