Ahhhh, the silly season is upon us.
Nothing but lame Internationals and non-stop B.S transfer rumours!
I see Pogba's up for grabs...AGAIN!!
Which Mug Team will fall for him this time.
It's Balotelli all over again!

Can't say I'm too excited at the prospect of the Nations League. Scotland Ukraine game more interesting. Harsh on Ukraine that they have to play a one-legged tie at Hampden Park. I can't call tonight's game. Scotland's chance to qualify for their first World Cup since 1998, but the world will be willing Ukraine on! I think they're fairly even teams.

One way traffic till scotland got a goal, and then tense last 14 mins but Ukraine nicked a 3rd when scotland pushed up.
Wales v Ukraine sunday.

The transfer market will reopen on Friday, June 10, in line with most major European leagues, though most international deals will not go through until July 1.

The Premier League will close the transfer window on Monday, Sept. 1, at 11 p.m

So Paul Pogba's days at ManU have come to an end. ManU paid £89 million for him, Pogba's agent Mino Raiola made £41 million out of the deal! (a lot of good it did him, he died in April aged 54). Pogba's contract was a basic £7.75m-a-year, plus a loyalty bonus of £3.75m-a-year. If United qualified for the Champions League, Pogba netted a further £1.85m, in addition, Pogba had a £3m-a-year image rights deal.

Wow! I wonder how much money it worked out for each goal Pogba scored?

England was shit.
Hungary won 1 nil to a weak pen decision, but had other chances.
England looked shattered. Like they all needed a holiday.

It's just the Nations League. Irrelevant anyway. An excuse to make more money for the powers that be.

Yeah that Nations League is pretty dire. Glorified friendlies for the bigger teams anyway. The weaker groups at least give those teams a chance of a Euro playoff, though I'm not really sure why. Interesting to hear some players come out and criticise it this week and question the schedule of several games at the end of the season.

The Wales-Ukraine match today should be interesting at least. Hard to tell how that will go, either Ukraine keep the momentum from the Scotland game or that catches up with them.

Yes, its possible ukraine will be too much for wales too, but equally wales are 1 man team and if Bale is on fire then he could carry them. Of course, if he would rather play golf in spain in november, he may not put much effort in. big grin

Pretty even game, 0 0 so far but ukraine had best chances and have had the edge.
Dan james being a snidey little shit though, rolling around feigning contact worse than it is.
And he told ref to fuck off in first 5 minutes and got a yellow card.
Bale deflected free kick 1 0

Outrageous var decision to deny yarmolenko a penalty. Even biased robbie savage said it was a pen

Wales didnt do a lot. Got their scuffy goal, an og diving header, and then defended for the rest of it, created very few chances. Whereas the welsh keeper was man of the match, including several very good saves.

I thought that a penalty as well. Ukraine looked the better team to me, one of those days it just wouldn't go in. Wales don't look much, Bale or nothing but I guess it's a big deal for them. 1958 their only previous World Cup was it?

You can take the boy away from Man U, but it takes a bit longer to take the Man U away from the boy.

Yeah, disappointing weekend's football. England game was their worst performance in 2 years and in current climate it wudve been written in the stars for ukraine to make the finals ...and a perfect one in the eye for the mass murderer lunatic and a big boost for Ukranian morale.
Instead we got Gareth id rather play golf Bale. frown

Germany england has been like germany went to smart tactics school and england thought it was a waste of time n were having a ciggy behind the bike sheds!!
We got shown up tonight, couldnt get the ball off them most of the time n when we did, 2 touches n we gave it back.
Germany 1 nil up nearly all second half and we spawned a clumsy penalty with a few mins to go.
1 1 but truthfully England didnt deserve it.

It doesn't sound very promising for the Qatar Bung Contest.

No theyve gone from playing like world beaters to two of their worst performances in 2 years. It could be exhaustion and demotivation at Nations league fixtures but germany's Havertz n rudiger and Gundogan looked fresh n hungry. Funny that.
