Ah ha. I cannot recall the front cover. A view i think. I wrote to mr Stamp with a request for an interview for a book i was doing on someone. He wrote postcard (with the correct amount of stamps!) to say he was flattered to be asked but didnt know subject well enough to speak with authority although they had spent some most enjoyable social eves together in the 60s and he wished me "good luck with the tome". Nice man.

Heh - only an actor would write “tome”!

But most important in all this, we now know that Terence Stamp puts stamps on his postcards.

You mean, Stamp by name, use stamps by nature?

Mark R.Y. "probably" resembles filmmaker Terrence Malick, minus the beard. I always envision Mark wearing a weather-beaten, sage-colored baseball cap with a navy blue anchor insignia on the front as he raps out insightful posts about his cinematic "twin", the reclusive and mysterious Malick.

I like that description. But switch out the baseball cap for a Greek fisherman's cap (which I actually do wear) and add the phrase "ruggedly handsome" and that's me, Terren...I mean Mark to a tee!

I'm often told I look like Guy Pearce. So sometimes I think people assume I look like this.

Anyone see me differently?

Why post a pic of Brad Pitt?

Only if Wilford B was handsome enough at 22 to get hit on by a masher, while working as a bellhop, could this be Ock-man! smile

In my mind, "Zambra Alex" looks totally like Omar Sharif, sans moustache

Not mean at all. That face is experienced, mature, wise, astute, knowledgeable and with shrewd character.

This, to me, is Montana Dave:

Shaggy hair, moustache, moustache, and more moustache.
