I have several Aurora Allosaurus in my collection. Both original release and re-repops.
I know that we've reminisced about the Aurora dinos at length in the toys/collectables thread. I tell you, I still get the biggest smile to remember how much I enjoyed that stuff.
I was never crazy about the allosaurus having that bit of drool on its tongue. I couldn't nail-file it off fast enough.

Are any of yours still sealed, Sol?
Haha, yeah I tried to carve off the molded on drool myself! Otherwise this was one of my favorite Aurora Dino kits. Admittedly as an adult, it clearly looks more like a dragon on two legs.
I don't have any sealed. I've purchased original "open box" editions on Ebay years ago and purchased them over the years when reissued.
And yes, despite the lack of scientific accuracy I absolutely love the Prehistoric Scenes model kits and they make me giddy even today.

Incidentally, I was never one of those guys that gets a little batty about whether something is sealed or not. I was only curious.
(Not that there's anything wrong with getting a little batty about your passions!)
I do have some sealed model kits, just not from the Prehistoric Scenes. Luckily I was able to purchase both sealed and open box kits otherwise un-built. Like the Aurora Black Bear, White Tail Deer and American Buffalo. One day I will build the open box kits and keep the sealed ones in mint condition.
