They gave away half of Lancashire for a lark at the same time, I think. Yes, but to Cheshire, what was the point of that? And they smooshed Cumberland and Westmorland into Cumbria! But most egregiously they gave Yorkshire a fourth Riding (the South) to go with the North, East and West Ridings. So what? you might say. Well, dummy, Ridings means “thirds”, so since then there have been four thirds of Yorkshire. I suppose it was a compliment, really. Mind, in return for messing us about like that, they took Middlesbrough out of Yorkshire altogether and gave it its own little pretend county, Cleveland. Sort of made up for it.

I think bolton were ahead right to last knockings. Will feel like dropped points for xeb i expect Newcastle brighton as u would expect. 63min 0 0 lot of huff n puff n half chances. Game ragged and sloppy but not much sign of a goal.
