Champs league final, chelsea scored, n then sat back with 11 behind the ball, no space for city to open them up. City got more ratty n desperate as chelsea got cockier n every loose ball went their way. 5 mins into second half you could see city werent gonna score. I think kev n thomas called this result wen we new the finalists.

I love the ignore button. I see his name but never get to read the shit he writes. Why would anyone keep posting in a thread where most of the people in it have you on ignore? Its insane but its fucking funny.

Harry Kane, the Tottenham loser with a 100% record of failure in every single competition he has EVER entered, and who has never achieved a single trophy success for club or country, and who is now almost 28 years old and totally barren of any success whatsoever... he will actually captain England and stand before Champions League-winning KIDS like Mount and James, who have achieved more than Kane whilst still only 22 and 20 years of age respectively, and Kane will LECTURE THEM ABOUT HOW TO WIN games. Yes. constant-loser and never-a-winner Kane will have the temerity to tell Champions League Winners from Chelsea, and Premier League Champions from Man. City how to go about winning a trophy. And the England manager will nod approvingly while Kane mumbles his drivel. Kane's a solid allrounder Basil - unfortunately like Alan Shearer there's not enuff players in the team that are rocks when pressure is created. Kane should move-on & not make the same mistake as Shearer being round losers, like he was at Newcastle, Shearer did win the PL at Blackburn in 1995 but its a case like Leicester when the big-teams flopped & Chelsea that season got rid of Jose for screaming at the Chelsea medic - & Shearer again was always offered by the big-guns too join them, but he was a proud man at Blackburn & his dream-move supporting Newcastle from a kid is where he ended his playing days, same with Matt Le Tissier every team wanted him he never moved from his home which was Southampton. He was a great-player the England board of selectors snubbed him for ages until they finally saw sense, maybe public outrage got him that, pity his career was nearly done by that time.

Xeb, i seem to recall they always did the playoffs in reverse order, eg sat, sun monday but finish with championship on b.h monday, but it seems the opposite these days?

It used to kind of build up to the finale over the weekend. As thomas says the telephone numbers added to the championship final got sillier every year. "The hundred million" game! Maybe sky changed it for numbers watching - more people watched saturday than were around b.h monday maybe? Dunno.
