541. Tall Guy, apparently drawing from his "69" days, also in this very thread.

"This is the thread where every FSMer hopes to have their massive, unchecked ego stroked."

542. DavidinBerkeley's reply to Thor in the lowly "Yes, it's National Piano Month" thread, referencing composers most here never heard of, nor will they ever (the ignorant bastards):

Thor: "I even did a variation of it in 2012, it seems, a thread I had completely forgotten about": https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=86563&forumID=1&archive=0

DinB: "Maybe if you shamelessly self-promoted your threads by bumping them like I do, your threads would be Cole Porters instead of Harry Warrens! smile"

543- from a locked thread with our fav troll/ you're all bastards. For those who missed it-

Prince Damian's mother's user is a dirty whore. He's a bad person, a bastard. I had great sex with his wife. We also filmed it. Everyone who goes to Damian's house makes love because his wife and mother are filthy whores. I didn't pay for sex with his wife once, he has a grudge against me, but I promise to give him good money and he will be happy with me, long live Damian the bastard.

Just a few queries-

1.Could you explain ' mother's user'
2. I can't be a bastard as my dad (unless dear mother has lied for 57 years) is downstairs watching Roger Moore ( probably fell asleep by now).
3. You can't have had sex with my wife as I don't have one. But thanks for assuming she would be someone who provides great sex.
4. If you filmed it when does it get released. Do I get a complimentary copy.
5. Regarding said dvd - please don't use your mystery tune as the score. Use the meow from your neighbour's cat instead.
6. I only have grudges against worthy real people. You are neither.

I think the bar has been set so low on these now, I'd rather win an Oscar.
And what's with all the self nominations!!!

544. On the Rooftops channeling Charles Whitman in "To Start a Nerd War":

"The “S*** W*** Theme” is now the “Hotel California” of
film music, and the “Raiders March” its’ “Don’t Stop Believin’”.
Enough already."

545. Thor admitting he's an android in "Hurdy Gertrude's When You Wish Upon a Score"

"I tend to focus on what's real; what actually happened and then evaluate the scores accordingly. I just don't have the "speculation gene" that many film score fans seem to have."

https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=149846&forumID=1&archive=0

Truth be told, I do the same. Speculating is for gold diggers and daydreamers.

546.

GoblinScore channeling our exhaustion over the new would order regarding the new Dune TV series from Dragons entertainment post.

Yada Yada.
Basically, "becoming the leader she was meant to be" and its "not 1937 anymore" and "weird....WEIRD?...."

Oops, wrong project.

Or....IS IT!
(Insert Dramatic Squirrel cos I'm old and fuck all to jump thru hoops to post a gif here....those who know....Know.)

Canna fucking wait for more avenues to filter THE MESSSAGE! Exactly what entertainment needs more of now, I can't turn one way without being directed as to what to think. Thank Dio we have Hollywood to counsel simple wee folk, as I! I just....well, I just dunno what I would do without!?

Oh and FP Jr.in another IKWYDLS entry?
Damn we NEED more of this series in the universe. So, so grande, scary while making you think, and adding one of our great thespian, sweetens the pot. Surely story to be told and revisited til the end of time, the strongest narrative to build THREE, nay FOUR decades of material upon.

The DUNE news worried me....
The FP Jr. IKWYDLAS news gave me hope for humanity.

Here ye, here ye, we're NOT Doomed, good people! You can STILL know what you did last summer! Straight up OG Manna!!!

549. Solium re-terminating the long-since terminated Terminator film franchise...and terminating it point by point in "Happy Gilmore, Terminator, King Kong":

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE---James Cameron said he is partly to blame on why the sequel directed by Tim Miller was a disappointment, “I think the Rev-9 was cool as s***. Personally, I think that’s as good as anything that we did back then. Our problem was not that the film didn’t work. The problem was, people didn’t show up. I’ve owned this to Tim Miller many times. I said, I torpedoed that movie before we ever wrote a word or shot a foot of film’.”
He added, “We achieved our goal. We made a legit sequel to a movie where the people that were actually going to theaters at the time that movie came out are all either dead, retired, crippled, or have dementia. It was a non-starter. There was nothing in the movie for a new audience.” Cameron concluded, “I think the film’s cracking. I still think mine are the best, but I put it in solid third.”

Solium: "Geez, Carmeron needs to stop inhaling his own farts!

(1) No, Rev-9 wasn't cool.
(2) The film didn't work. You retconned the whole series!
(3) You achieved your goal of making a Terminator movie for a "modern audience" and it crashed and burned.
(4) No, your audience isn't dead, retired, crippled or have dementia. You didn't make a movie for them. (see number 3)
(5) I agree there was nothing for a new audience, because nobody wants what Hollywood is selling.
(6) So humble of you to say its the third best considering you were only involved with three of the films."

550. Mr Phelps reminding us our beloved B. Kimmel is the Charlie Brown of FSM in the "Which Half of M*A*S*H Do You Prefer?" thread.

Just saw the Bruce Kimmel episode. His character was just like his posts here, and he wasn't acting.

https://mash.fandom.com/wiki/Private_Gilbert

Always gets the short end of the stick. LMAO!

Saw "his" episode a few months ago; it's hilarious how ineffective and unmemorable a performer he is..The Kimmel's best work is his FSM posts. Nothing personal, mind you. I just have to remain the honest, straight-shooting pop culture critic I've always been.
