http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/disney-announces-fifth-indiana-jones-875794 “Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019,” said Alan Horn, Chairman, The Walt Disney Studios, in a news release. “It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.” No mention of John Williams, but I can't imagine he won't be scoring, health and schedule permitting. Speaking for myself, I thought the score for Indy 4 was pure dynamite. (I also seem to have enjoyed the film more than most, despite its flaws.) So this comes as very welcome news.

I actually loved Crystal Skull and would rank it above Last Crusade, but I really feel like Ford is getting too old for this. He looked great in Crystal Skull, but they should have capitalized on the success of Crystal Skull and went right into one for release a few years later. It will be 11 years after the Crystal Skull and Ford will be 76. It's kind of odd that the most worrisome thing as a fan is that none of the principal players die before the film is completed. That said...my ass is in the seat opening night. Williams score for Crystal Skull was terrific, too.

Music by Michael Giacchino The soundtrack will come with a booklet of Mike gushing about how John is such an inspiration, such a beautiful human being, yadda yadda.

Back when The Last Crusade was released, I would have loved another Indiana Jones film. Now, after having nuked the fridge and MacGyvered a son in, I just want it to stop. I'm not even interested in a new Williams Indy score.

Why are they even bothering? Didnt Crystal Skull already ruin the series legacy? Why tarnish it further? Bad enough that Ford ruins Han Solo by appearing in The Rehash Awakens and now thinks he can convincingly play Indy at 76! Just reboot the series with a new actor and set it in the thirties where the character belongs.
