The short clip sounds like a vaguely watered down version of his LAIR score, but I'm hoping the full thing offers much more. Lair had amazing moments throughout even if originality wasn't always at the forefront.
Does anyone know if Kevin Kaska had a hand in this score? Debney's best works have, for me, all involved Kaska's orchestrational finesse.

i have seen the movie and this is debneys most uninspired work for a blockbuster.the theme is lair, some of the mystical music is nice, but the action of which there is a lot is bland and forgettable, not even on the level of his additional music for the mummy 3.what the hell happened?its strange because the music in the setpieces often doesnt match the spectacle on screen.maybe he wasn´t allowed to go all out, maybe he wasn´t inspired by the nonstop cgi nonsense.the movie ends with a cliffhanger so maye next time.oh and kaska wasn´t involved.maybe that why its so lame.
I've been giving this main theme a lot of playtime, along with the full album for LAIR, so I can't help but be excited at the prospect of more Debney-adventure music! Any update on a release date, physical or otherwise?
I watched a good 30 min of the movie (not my genre), and I have to respectfully disagree with you dr.doom. This score is certainly more of the same, but that's not a bad thing! If LAIR was Debney's "Conan the Barbarian," this is his "Conan the Destroyer." I can't wait to hear this outside of the film!
