Farewell to the "other" greatest living film composer imo. He was a trendsetting, landmark composer, and I consider H8teful 8 to be one of his finest moments (I especially love the perhaps nostalgic shades of Bernard there).

The Maestro already performed on several occasions a mini suite of NOVECENTO gathering the main theme and Olmo e Alfredo but can you be more specific about LEGAMI (TIE ME UP, TIE ME DOWN). Did he play the main theme? It's a favourite of mine and I pity the fact I never heard it live. Thanks in advance. Laurent salut, laurent. it was a mini suite of LEGAMI and the main theme was played...very nice!!! greets. dominique

I tried to get an interview when he gets here on Monday, but to no avail. Thats coz i wrote to him in italian and told him all about you, i explained you werent really an ennio fan but you were jumping on the bandwagon as he was in the neighbourhood and that you thought john williams was better!
