Not as poor as their shipping practices are (with regard to LPs, they just jam them into these too-tight cardboard mailers, bending the jackets)! I'd like to get this, but might say screw it because of how little care they put into packaging (they're not open to returns either, pointing to their policy that they aren't responsible for "damage during shipment" even though this is clearly their fault).

What really bothers me is Varese Sarabande hasn’t released a complete version of AIR FORCE ONE. Between Gremlins 2 and AIR FORCE ONE I’d say those are some of Goldsmith’s best works. Varese needs to step up their game! Sing it, jurassicmarcmarc!

US Marshalls must be released! Haha - is there a legitimate petition for Varese to release stuff? Maybe we should do a Change.org campaign to encourage them to change their shipping practices and show support in numbers for CDs we want! Varese literally could not give one good god damn what anyone wants.

Varese literally could not give one good god damn what anyone wants. What if... That's not 100% accurate. I feel some of the consensus' frustration. Give them this credit: They have stated that three Club Batches are slated for 2019. The statement of anything forthcoming is a first for Varese. Additionally, look at what has been stated by various people in the know about the current movie/music industry shakeup. Motion picture companies are changing hands (Fox into Disney), previously liberal entities are closing up (Sony music), while others have raised their rates (Warner) and CD production plants are closing. All this culminates into making things far more complicated for everyone compared to previous years. That's not even taking in the declining ecomony and the various streaming means that progressively dillude the market value of a physical product. (Last year whilst browsing through a New Jersey record store, I heard a very vocal 20 something say with such condescension, "CDs! Who buys these anymore?!" Ah, kids today...) Granted there are opinions/bias about Varese past and post Bob Townson. After all, we (the common folk) dont know what variables are affecting things now. This could take time, but what if we give the new Varese a chance to show their cards? Its long been known that it can take a year to complete a new project without the obstacles mentioned above. Even the golden boys of Intrada and LLL are experiencing an unavoidable slowdown compared to previous years. What if...

I mean, they gave us Die Hard for the first time back in 2002 which was pretty awesome. They also brought us the complete Starship Troopers. They did send me that crappy 1985 In Film collection though and half the discs had issues. Let me count the gems Varese has produced since 2000. Total Recall (The very first "Deluxe Edition") Aliens The Abyss Stargate The Final Conflict Runnaway The Burbs Gremlins 2 Die Hard 1 and 2 Predator 1 and 2 Ghostbusters The Goonies Matrix (clicks and all) Robocop 2 and 3 Under Siege 2 Starship Troopers Back to the Future 3 Commando Project X Scream 1 and 2 Mimic Hellboy Chain Reaction Executive Decision Small Soldiers Star Trek Nemesis Outbreak Dracula My brain is tired now, could list at least 20 more later.
