star trek, star trek, star trek

OF COURSE I ordered this! I'm not even that much of a fan of Voyager and these selections are genuinely terrific.

Thrilled that this is finally available. I loved Voyager when it first aired, and this set looks to contain a majority of my most wanted cues from the series.

Thanks again. You're the best!

I've been revisiting the Vol 1 set in anticipation of Vol. 2 (and to see what adjustments I might make to my VOY "highlights" playlist) and was reminded how much I like Chattaway's scores for "Equinox" and "Pathfinder", along with McCarthy's music for "The 37's".

Been looking forward to this next volume for a very long time! Thank you La-La!!

Nice to see such a large chunk dedicated to Chattaway's series finale score "Endgame". Does anyone know if it's complete??

Finally shipped! Can’t wait!

Great news! My copy is bundled with albums not available until 12/16 so I have to wait until then, but that's okay, it'll be a fun set to dive into either way.

Need to get this. Was very surprised how much I enjoyed the previous VOY release, so I've been chomping at the bit for more...

On disc three, track 15, "Kim and Doc Plan in Corridor", about 2.55 into the track, there's a definite warble/moment of wow. I'm assuming this is on every copy - probably an instance of tape damage, but just wanted to be sure.

Other Paramount recordings from around this time (David Arnold's Shaft, for one) suffer similar examples of brief tape snags/wow. I wonder if there was something about the equipment or tapes used that were prone to these kinds of anomalies (assuming they were even recorded in the same place and used the same recording techniques).

We should be lucky all these Trek tapes survived in mostly perfect condition, really, given that a lot of 90s scores did not. It's an awful lot of music that had to be archived over a twenty year period.
