I know what you mean, and I'm well aware that I'm privileged to see movies "for free" (a relative term, since it's work-related). But I often see such advance negativity for 'genre fare' like this, which bewilders me a bit. How about having a positive, or at the very least a neutral attitude when you go into a movie -- whether it's an underwater monster movie or Ingmar Bergman?
It is just practicality Thor. There are only so many movies I can see, only so much time and money I can spend on it, so the reviews play a factor. And in large part, if the scores on Meta are showing a low aggregate then there is something to it. Yes, I enjoy some movies that have been critically beaten. I just do not have the practical means to check all the movies myself to see if I like them. Joan has a good point also, that some of them might be explored later, at home streaming.

I would see this, eventually when it opens in Spain.
About the score, it's OK, interesting mix between sound desings (nice synth-vocals) and orchestra, with pleasent theme for Kristen Stewart's character.
