Tweaking the CGI won't save the the movie from being terrible. And the only reason Junkie XL was hired because of his loyal friend Tim Miller is a producer on the movie.

Didn't like the stuff he did under Junkie, but Alita Battle Angel was surprisingly emotive. So I'd say he's shown more range than I would've given him credit for.
Quite nice score, it's an animated Tom Holkenborg score, yes, his trademarks are here, but is nicely orchestrated, with nice little emotional tracks and fun action tracks.
